As some of you may already know, our dear Oskar passed peacefully on Tuesday August 26th 2025. Oskar was loved by so many, and deeply respected in the music and luthier community. We are grateful for all of the kind words and connections you've shared in his memory.
Oskar had a special love for nature, canoeing, long walks, and the tranquility of places like Clarendon and Westport, where he lived for many years. No matter where he traveled, he always took a moment to appreciate the beauty around him. He was a self proclaimed peacenik, caring for peace and community greatly.
If you have a good whiskey and a beautiful view you cherish, toast to our Oskar. He rests peacefully having lived a full life.
